Abundance

Birds chirping in the quiet green,
Shadows of trees replacing the clock,
The extravagance of the kovilmani
And the soft breeze searches for a space to clean.
Lanterns of the merchants still burning,
Clothes hanging as peers in the lines,
The swans floating on calm waters
And a yellow leaf from an old tree falls.
Mangoes and Jackfruits unleash
With banana trees performing kummi
The tendrils of the born-again creeper
And lotuses floating with shades of peace.
Awaited smell of harvest, takes over
The fragrance of hands tired of plucking
The buds of the honey caves,
Discover a new pleasant nature's cover.
